what we can learn from Genevieve Nnaji

Dynamic: when it comes to energy, Genevieve definitely brings it. Thinking back on movies like sheron stone, dangerous sisters and a host of love movies she starred in, I do believe her lively persona aided her act in interpreting some of her characters.

Be unrelenting: once I was talking with the past Agn president Mr Ejike Asiegbu, and I quote “her doggedness made a way for her in the industry’ this he said referring to the challenges she must have face prior to her break out. We barely noticed Genevieve in the 1998 movie “Most Wanted” where she played the news caster, yet today, we can’t seem to hear enough about the ebony Diva, Genevieve.

Branch out: you know how they say, all publicity is good publicity. This is sometimes true. In my opinion, the launch of her failed music album (one logologo line), presented her in a new light, and people noticed how she could be in other fields. So even though the songs did not sell, the idea that she could do something else sold. Hence, came the other opportunities.

Keeping up: A trait synonymous with success in Nollywood, is addition of weight. Whether this comes from increment in food intake or relaxation and enjoyment, I have no idea (lol). Thing is, as an entertainer, you are as good as your physical appearance, I love that Genevieve understands this rule and maintains her appearance as best as she could. This rule applies to other fields, in that there is need for improvement, in order to stay relevant. For example A medical doctor still has to study constantly to keep up with new discoveries in the field of science.

Keep private: stories about Genevieve Nnaji are endless, some controversial, and some virtuous. One thing is, no body can confirm this stories for sure.Which makes me categorize them as "The Press Tales", which are probably stories made up just to make sales. Genny is very protective of her life, her family and her relationship. this is good habit because some stories could destroy, all of a lifetime’s hard work.

Leave a legacy: undoubtedly, she is making a path and leaving a legacy. What would this generation remember you for?

Speak smart: she is very fluent, eloquent, smart, and intelligent in her interviews. talk educated.

Be you: wherever success and fame may take you. Be yourself. that's the reason the world fell in love with you in the first place.

Yea, celebrities can be quite annoying, but we should cut them some slack sometimes....they go thru much pressure.nyc article, I think the keeping up appearances would also apply to woman, Who start to look shabby once married.i
