I recently came across the former Nigerian National Anthem, written by Lilian Jean Williams and composed by Frances Berda and I made a few editions of my own.
Through tongue and tribe we differ
In brotherhood we stand
To pass unto our children
A banner without stain
O GOD of creation
Grant this our request
Give us a revolution without blood
Teach us to appreciate the life our brothers and sisters
Help us to build a nation
Where no man is oppressed
And so, with peace and plenty
Nigeria will be blessed
